Homemade Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 Russet Potatoes
  • ¾ Cup Half and Half
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic

Seasoning Mixture

  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
  • While water is heating, peel potatoes and cut into evenly sized chunks (about a bite sized cube).
  • Rinse the potatoes in a colander under cold water.
  • Cook the potatoes in the water until fork tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • Add the butter and milk to the pot. Mash until desired consistency.
  • All the seasoning mixture and garlic, adjust to taste.
  • Enjoy your delicious mashed potatoes!
